Schertler Dyn-V
This pickup is a pressure zone mic or pzm. This unique type of microphone can handle higher sound levels with more isolation than a traditional microphone. It attaches using putty (which will not hurt the finish of your instrument). Like a traditional microphone, the placement of the pickup on the instrument drastically changes the sound.
The pickup is often mounted in 2 different positions on the body:
1. Below the bridge on the belly (recording 1)
2. Near the soundpost on the back of the instrument (recording 2)
