I just stumbled upon the Violorama soundpost pickup. It’s apparently the successor to the Kurmann pickup, which doesn’t seem to be made anymore, though was once popular among bluegrass fiddlers. They claim to sound fuller than a bridge pickup, but I can’t find anything online about cellos using one. I’d love to see y’all do a review!
